ChiefKiasu:
Thanks chiefks
I'm sorry you had to move on to Phase 2C(S). But miracles happen more often than you think. A number of my friends were called by their waitlisted schools late in December with the offer to transfer. It might just happen for you. In the meantime, just try to get a school in Phase 2C(S).ryes:
... Thanks all. Now have to think alternative.
Have filled up wait list but chances are minimal. Who will want transfer their child out. -
XXXX:
I shall live with the regret not speaking up.ryes:
Basically speak or remain silent forever.
Exactly! You wouldn't want to say to your partner, \"Too bad we missed out, I could actually see that our ball was never going to be selected in this draw, but hey-ho the system is statistically fair over all so what more could we have done?\" Partner: \" :censored: :censored: :censored:  \"
But hey, I wouldn't know after speaking up and the spinner spins hardly and then the odd goes against me where all the other number start having a higher chance when they are in the center portion. Because the trend this morning was all the mid range were being picked and I'm in the mid range. Unluckily not picked.
Gotta move on -
Now that P2C is over, you can also fill up the waitlist for the other school that you were
Yes, can walk in to fill the form. But call school to chk time that school gate is open for visitor and if their balloting session for P2C is over.
ryes,
If you are going for a school that’s going to ballot at P2Cs, pls have a school as your back-up that is around your area that will definitely have vacancies for Phase 3. It is one thing to travel a great distance for a school that you preferred, it’s another thing to do the travelling for a school that you do not prefer.
All the best.

Thank you.
Anyone can share what happens if (touch wood) 2c sup unsuccessful?
I read somewhere we will have to choose 3 schs and moe will post us to either 3 schs before phase 3 starts. -

I didn't say anything either, and we were 3rd from last to be picked. Overall the ballot process is fair, accept it and move on. Focus on what you can actually control. Good luck in the next phases.

I was in the same boat as you 2 years ago, I was balloted out at 2C and again at 2Cs. At the 2Cs ballot if you are balloted out, the school will request you to fill in 3 schools name that you wish MOE to post your kid to before phase 3 ( for foreigners ) . My DS1 was posted to my original 3rd choice school. So do have a back up if you need to ballot or go for a school that will not need to ballot for your distance in Phase 2C supp. -
Hi wanderlust
So do u wait for moe to contact u after the failure?
Ie they will send letter to you?
How come they didnt post u to ur 1st choice among the 3 schools u chose?
Do they allow us to list in priority like
1st choice
2nd choice
3rd choice?
Did u opt for transfer after that? -

Hi , The form that you fill up is at given to me by the principal of the P2Cs school that my DS was balloted out. DS1 got into the 1st choice amongst the 2 schools i list . This 1st choice choice also happen to be my 3rd choice school originally. ( I standby 3 schools from the start and knew that i will still be happy in terms of distance and my the 3rd choice school used not to have any balloting at all in the past years and it is within 1-2km , so i was quite prepared that i may end up w the 3rd choice school onec i decide to try for balloting for 1st choice school. )Hi wanderlust
Hi
I thought SC / SPRs can still apply under phase 3 if they are unsuccessful in earlier phases
Note from moe website -- ( under registration phases n procedures)
Children who are Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents and who are still not registered in a school after the earlier phases are also eligible to register at this phase.
My DS is a foreigner and I am just hoping to get into any nearby school after looking at the overwhelming response in all neighborhood schools.
Could someone guide me through which schools might be left at phase 3 in bedok area Schools around my house have already finished places at P2c.
Had been following KSP since P2B and hats off to all the parents gone through balloting n registration phases. :salute:
Getting very kiasu..tia -
In tao nan, they ask parents to spin. Any parent… they even ask parents whose kid got in to share their good luck…
overall it was fair…
