Must be the school and not the living conditions.

        gelfish,

no. I’m doubtful of getting into it. I was too late for volunteering.

Can you share with us why you gave up on trying for Nan Hua?

I thought the chances of getting in is high, since you stay within 1km.
Maybe you should see this yr’s balloting result in August before you give up.

You can try clementi primary. I heard the teachers are very nice and caring and i was very impressed with the principal’s attitude too. Too bad she retired this year. Nan Hua so far has 60% to 70% chance of getting in if you stay within 1km of the school.

My apt v. near Nan Hua Primary Sch too but it seems to be v tough this year (surprisingly) even for people living within the 1km radius!

Talking abt 2nd Choice, Clementi seems like a better choice than Pei Tong based on track records. This school also seems like a second hot cake in Clementi. (Balloting req’d betw 1-2km)

Aiya, Really in a Dilemma now!

Yuh boy... Nan Hua super hot this year. Average TUR is 15% higher than last year's. Phase 2C definitely balloting for people within 1km. Clementi also traditionally quite hot... may ballot for 1-2km this year in Phase 2C.

Have you already gone for Phase 2B? Sorry... only saw your note now.

i hv something to share my exp, after enrol my second son p1 to my DREAM SCHOOL ( this yr Nan Hua ) under 2C phases with one of my girl fri her second dg . i wanted to transfer my elder son P4 and elder dg P5 ( my fri ) from previous school - clementi pri school ( both of them in the top class ) to Nan Hua but a bit worry bcos we've know , it is vy hard to get into the elite school except whose was P1 child . the Principal said we can copie the past yr exam record book to over she may consider , after one week later , ( both of us get the gd news from Nan Hua , we get it ! we're so happy ) i would proudly say it is a nice school and my son enjoying it vy much , the Principal is a nice lady she always having smiling face in school who tell them alot of character building stories . ( l even do PV in Nan hua i' m deeply grateful to Nan Hua Principal 2give a chance 4my elder son . i thought child will be able to get into better class , together with other children who r more keen to do well in school r vy important when they're young, bocs teachers teaching best classes hv more time to teach the content , and beyond , bcos the kids will hand in work on time and pay fully attention ( 95% ) during lesson time . BASICALLY , the children in the best classs r taught more and faster bcos they r able to absord more and thus learn more , on top of the fact that they DON'T waste teachers' time on DISCIPLINE and other petty , admin matters . MORE teachers teaching the best class would also stretch them by teaching them thing learnt at higher level . all the parents DON't give up <TRY>
