      Kamp:
I think all parents and elders need to have some old age homes and assisted living at some reasonable price, which provide all necessity and luxuries facilites for them to live comfortably. Along with 24/7 nursing facility. As therer are some awesome old age home projects are working around some countries.

although still quite a young couple, at least young at heart :), me and my wife have already started planning what to do during old age. Seriously, i mean we are seriously planning.

We would be working harder now, so that we can enjoy our rewards later in life. Kids would probably have their own world, i mean look at most of us now. I mean, i still have meals 3 - 4 times a week with my parents, but that's about it. I would provide them with allowances as well. But how my mom spends her time? She goes to KTV at CCs, and go for courses and participate in CC activities.

For me and my wife, we know that most probably our kid will have her own life too. We are looking at places for us to really spend our remaining years.

Unfortunately Singapore is slightly too expensive for older folks. We are just looking across the causeway. We have a place in Singapore, but we are just looking around. Especially the Iskandar, Malacca, and Penang area.

What i can say, is that, hopefully we would not have to depend on our kid, and of course my kid does not have to depend on us too... 🙂

A yearly event - small Xmas Party for 50 people extended family.

For CNY - we will basically camp at my MIL house. Everyone is looking forward to this especially our family's 22 kids.

Yes I cooked everything except the ham, satay & sushi. After the party, I took more than 3 days to recover!

Why do you say you "used to" have makan sessions?

Off topic but where did you get the serving dishes and stands? They look very professional. 🙂
