Singpost pilot run

And these companies all started as public companies. How, I could never understand, could they transfer all these into hands of private and owned by individuals in the name of shares?Postal service provider never buck up the service standard of the postal service.. and instead venturing into loans and others..?
Transport provider SMRT never buck up the service standard of the train service.. and instead venturing to rentals and others..?
When national provider privatize....
This is what the pple get..
Privatizing.. that's 1 thing I dislike about current Singapore..
Makes the rich richer, and the peasant suffers.. -
At one time, I watched the post lady, thinking how her job must be more ‘singnang’ these days since most people have computers and emails, and more start using e-cards. Until about a year ago, I started pitying her - got so much things to lug along because of online purchases - I also wonder if her pay has been increased (most likely not).
These are all changes that lifestyle and technology is causing, may not be entirely the ‘fault’ of the post office. That said, there is definitely room for improvement in the service levels here. -
If cannot improve services that I feel is up to my "standard", then I will try to reduce online purchase using their service.
No strength to carry heavy parcels. If have to pay additional price for redelivery (yet cannot choose a time), add up cost and more expensive, what’s the point of buying online? -

The thing is the base shipping cost is the most expensive of the charges, so buy more share out charges.

Unfortunately, now with this kind of thing happening, I might as well try NOT TO buy anymore things that require my time and effort to go all the way out to the NOT SO near, nearest post office to carry the big big box home. -

OIC. That's true, I've often weighed out against buying online cos of delivery charges.

Perhaps the nearest shopping mall is nearer.
These days, I take pity on the retailers - everyone's buying online, and the shops are so quiet. But then again, sometimes, it takes such market forces to push down retail rental cost, which unfortunately, won't' be for a while...

What is the weight and size in Singpost’s definition of bulky?

Their response...
what BS............. where's the proof? by who? the postman..? load of crap..
\"SingPost will continue to fulfil its obligation of one-time door-to-door delivery, while reviewing its processes and operations to improve service.\"
So, when are they going to implement \"call before delivery\" or scheduled delivery? If no such service, one-time delivery just don't cut it..
