Oh.. maybe you become more \"hot\" now so the fan can't satisfy you as much..

Anyway.. try putting a little WD40 on the bearings?

  me becoming more \"hot\"..... :rotflmao: :rotflmao: let me tell my hubby about it! :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Seriously, I suspect it's the fan getting \"weaker\". The thing is I have fans in my whole life that it is weird that such a condition is happening only now. The previous fans performed the same from day one till the last, I had never felt they getting \"weaker\". So it is really a little strange for me.

I will let hubby know about your suggestion, see what he say.
        :thankyou:

Spraying/injecting WD40 into bearings is bad advice.

          Has WD40 formulation changed?
WD40 was originally formulated to remove rust.
If ur bearings needs to be lubricated, wat u need to inject is lubrication, definitely not a rust remover (WD40 consists mostly of petroleum solvent) which will also remove/contaminate whatever lubricant which is in d bearings.

If d fan motor bearing is worn out n causing excessive noise, adding lubrication is only a temporary solution. Some bearings hv solid lubrication - u cannot top up lubrication for those.

Hubby said the similar things! He said just leave it (the fan), activate the aircon if need be And we would change the fan one day....(when the fan retires).

I am using those extension for a few appliances…

Can I just switch those point to the appliances or I need to off the main de?

                        Doesn’t make any difference.

Can just off the individual switch at the sockets of the extension. Of coz, if you off the main plug, you cut off all the sockets at once.
