St Nick is Catholic school, NYGH is non-religious and of course verymuch chinese culture and tradition but in an English environment although both languages are of equal emphasis in the NYGH. (need to stress this point, don't be mistaken that NYGH is any more Chinese less English - not true)

if I say NYGH is better in character development, it implies that I mean St Nick is lesser - which I don't think so. both are great schools to be in. NYGH has the advantage of the true-train IP established and year 5 & 6 are in HCI, while St Nick will have it later, as announced last year

are there more girls from Nanyang primary school going- NYGH or RGS secondary ?

how do they teach li yi lian ci ?

how does NYGH teach character education ?
          via academic curriculum time ?
          or through other means ?

what’s the percentage of foreign students from China studying in Nanyang primary, NYGH ?

          > 10% ?

foreign students from China in NYPS or NYGH I would guess is less than 10%, may be not even 5%, many of them already localised from primary school onward

43% of NYPS scores more than 250 in PSLE, which works out to be about 200. if half are girls, it would be 100. but not all will go NYGH....hence it is below 100 and NYGH intake is 450.....(it takes 250 as feeder school pupil from NYPS to enter NYGH)

a lot of the chinese-ness of NYGH is same as NYPS...there were once the same school consisting of primary & sec sections....even now they share the same board. 勤慎端朴...弟子规.....are learnt from primary school onwards

if you do higher chinese in sec school, and obtain a pass in it at O level, you are exempt from MT / CL forever after sec 4
