This is truly a man who thinks he's a genius in his own mind. -

I'm amazed that parents are willing to part with that much money for so called GEP training.
Kelvin Ong of Aristocare charges $150/hr to $300/hr for GEP preperatory group tuition. And $500/hr to $800/hr for individual tuition.Singapura:
Those who attended the class could pay (and did pay - otherwise they could not continue)
Gosh $800/hr ! This is like an entire month salary for the lower income group :yikes: -

\"Miss Eunice Cheang has a diploma in TESOL and certified in Phonology & Dyslexia. She developed Phonics GeniusTM. She has successfully taught thousands of children to read and spell during the past 12 years. She has many years of experience and training. She specializes in teaching children with or without learning difficulties. Not only are the children taught phonics, they are also taught the skills of using phonics which result in them being able to read independently 2 or 3 years above their peers. These same children then become enthusiastic readers and learners as they gain their confidence in reading.\"
So why was she posting on KSP giving the impression she was a happy customer when she is a teacher and principal of AristoCare? -

Nothing new wah. I'm sure there r quite a few in the same industry coming in here to hamtam him in incognito mode.

There are plenty of unqualified tutors out there, but they don't charge an arm and a leg. He demanded such a high price based on his claims of special knowledge (ie. ex-GEP teacher, top school teacher for 12 years), and promises of results (GEP success rate, Olympiad platinum and gold).
this is a wake up call that GE ability could not be trained. if the kids have it, they have it. if not, it is just wasting money and pressuring the kids needlessly. parents should understand why SBGE ends at sec 2. -
Please do not send your kids for GEP training. It’s a program meant for the naturally gifted, not for wannabes. The latter suffer having to get tutored to keep up. I’ve seen some in my daughter’s class like these, it’s a sorry sight …
