My colik who used to do "fully clocked" PV for RVPS(was not admitted/"selected" during the the MOE P1 phases) and was posted to GESP … BUT shortly just now saw their FB posting - the transfer request for the kid to RVPS was successful !!

      - based on the above scenario -> Does it mean that althou "no chance" during the phases … there might still a slimmmm chance after all "the dust settled"(maybe someone withdraw from RVPS so there’s slot for my colik’s son to go in RVPS (who had done PV previously counts) ?

normally after all dust had settled after P1 registration Phases had ended, if vacancie(s) arise in the event a child withdraw from school before P1 Term 1 commence, transfer may take place. After 2B end, you may fill up the Transfer form, state down your reason(s) for Transfer that you were a PV before - so that P is aware, take notice of your unique application. However, it's up to individual school Principal (P) decision - who she want to take in. It is up to P whether or not she prefer to give priority to Parent Volunteer(s), or to someone else instead.

However, if a vacancy arise after the end of Primary 1, then school will look at the (academic Term tests / exam results + whatever supporting reasons /talent you give) of your child, from his / her originating school.

P1 in st Margaret primary - no higher Chinese.

Higher Chinese start only in p5, at st Margaret.

SAP school will only offer HCL to all lower primary students. Students can choose to opt for normal CL when they progress to upper primary.

Non-SAP school is the opposite. All lower primary students will take up normal CL but they can opt for HCL later when they progress to upper primary.
