Any parent planning to pull out their children from the Science Discovery Camp due to the increase of PSI? Any parent has children attend this camp this week? What is your plan?


I have a child attending this camp this week and I am very worried about the impact on the children health if the haze condition does not improve.
I call up the campus and talk to 3 different person incharge at the campus and none of them can tell me what is the next course of action in the event that the haze get worse next few days.
The first guy I talk to tell me not to worry and say that the haze condition has improve since yesterday and is below 100 but when I ask him, what is the PSI reading this morning, he say he does not know???
The second lady I talk to also could not answer my query and quickly pass the phone to another lady. The third lady tell me that they are busy having lunch and ask me to contact the Camp office directly to check myself.
From this incident, I am very sure that this will be the first and last experience for my child to attend this camp.

Tried registering with NEWPARENTS and it said that the group does not exist. That’s when I looked again and saw that the NEWPARENTS post was an old one(2009).

I’ve created a group called KNEWPARENTS (k for Kiasu while registering for the camp. Do go ahead and register with that one and let’s see if we hit the target.

Hi all KP,


For the Nov/Dec 2013 camp,
I had registered my daughter under the group luvfun. I have 2 other friends registering another 2-3 kiddos. Pls use our group name and we can save together if you are keen too. :rahrah: :thankyou:

The Camp will send me a email every time there is a sign up, once I confirm we have 5 or more, I will keep everyone posted.
