Thank you for your response. If there is a vacancy and there are other parents requesting for transfers as well, how good is the chance for acceptance (given that it is <1km + sibling in P1) as compared to other reasons that schools normally come across? I had the impression that the only reason that schools consider for transfer is when the student move to another residence and is requesting for a school that is closer to his/her new residence.

It actually depends on the school, so nobody knows. Whatever it is, you have to keep on calling the school to follow up. Sometimes, perserverence pays.

Hi,

Just like to double check and to make sure I did not mis-read the MOE guidelines.
To be eligible for phase 2A1(parents are alumni), parents only need to have at least 1 year of alumni membership? And not 2 years, rite?
