              2013jjang:
Came across this thread and thought I would just ride on...

Super pissed w e man at home.
My house has lots n lots of new & old stuff that never use.
Recently I found some lobangs to sell off some of the things to recover back at least some $$, if not the things are oso collecting dust at home.

I just told him I sold off sth for a certain amount, ok frankly I oso dunno if that is the \"market\" price, but I saw different sellers have asked for a variation of prices so I just asked for something comfortable.

That thing was in the house for a number of years already and no one ever do anything about it. When I told him I sold that thing off for that amount, instead of being glad that we had recovered some $$ for things we dun use, instead he asked me, \"is that price worth? How much did we pay for it?\"

Very pissed upon hearing that. Come on, I mean, if I hadn't sell it off, it will sit in our house for dunno how long more, before it eventually ends up with, at best Salvation army, garang guni or at worst as trash!

He would nvr bother to think of how to declutter the house or turn around things with $$. Anyway that particular item, one can nvr expect to make profits from selling it off, it's SECOND HAND.

He is one that doesn't know how and doesn't bother about selling things off to recover $$. Then can't he at least be appreciative of what I have done? His reaction disappoints me!
Hey, at least he lets you sell off the stuff. Mine would tell me he still has use for those things when he hasn't used them for the last six years!

I say, they have to be trained. And early at that.

When I first got married, he expected me to pay the household bills and meals on my own. It took some training to make him get used to picking up the tabs. Sometimes I ask him,\"would you have asked me to pay /done this to me if I haven't married you?\" and he gets the idea. Till he finds a counter-argument for this, it's working fine.

Hmmmm. Between my hubby & I, right from the start our finances are 不清不楚 :scratchhead:, sometimes I pay, sometimes he pay, whoever has money just pay. We also dun really differentiate or bother with each other's spending since we trust each other. However we would discuss before committing on any big ticket items. Of course now that I'm SAHM, DH is the paymaster......

I think the trick is to find the right breed. Must be smart enough so that it is trainable & yet not smarter than the master. And definitely need to start training right from the start, when it is still a puppy (during early dating stage) so that your wish will always be its command

Okay, this is a dog joke… ie. don’t try this at home:

But to really prove that a ‘Dog is Man’s Best Friend’… a husband took his wife & his dog and locked them both in the trunk of his car for 30 minutes.

When he opened the trunk - Guess who was still happy to see him?
