How does Maths Olympaid or Science Olympaid works in Tao Nan? Are the students being selected by the school in P4? or all will have a chance to participate?

So the GEP class or Bicep class will be the same for the next 3 years? No more yearly streaming like the rest of the school unless the kids does badly and will be asked to drop from the program?

From my child's experience, no more streaming for them unless the parents request for the child to be dropped from the GEP/Bicep programme.

Most students will remain in the same classes for the next 3 years but some students might be switched between the GEP or Bicep classes. I think it depends on their strengths and aptitude for various subjects.

I believed the students are selected by the respective teachers in-charge of the subjects. The Olympiads starts from P5 and by then the teachers would have identified some of the students.

Just curious if any parent had difficulties with dropping off n picking the kids up today? There was a long queue to turn into the school so we dropped off further ahead and walked across to school…

Hi, I was at Bedok south at 655am and the jam has started. No choice but to drop ds further up. Wonder what will happen after school?

Was there to fetch my daughter around 1 pm. Traffic condition was chaotic with vehicles jammed from the main gate towards junction of Bedok South & Bedok South Ave 1. Parents and students cluttering around the main entrance. Potential road safety harzard for those waiting along and around the main gate. Much could be done to ease the traffic congestion. Hope the school could review the existing traffic arrangement. LTA and Traffic Police have been informed. Hope the PSG closely monitor the situation and see through to better alternatives.

What is the difference between 4J and 4JB? 4K and 4KB? Bicep? So confusing - they should just use another alphabeth.
