          Hi!

          I have two DDs in TNS. P1 & P4.

For the P1, I found that they were very relaxed. Nothing much for them to do. Every time, asked her about homework. Always say ‘no’.

For the P4, she is in GEP class. So far, she seem like very relaxed also. Quite worried. Because from the forum here, I heard that GEP class are very stressed and busy. But, she was not.

So, I think for the first two years, P1 & P2, they are quite relaxed.

No, my two DDs are just so so…

My Pr 1 DD, was just too relaxed, don’t know what is serious.

The P4 DD, last term didn’t get good result for her SA1. Now, she has two remedies for Maths and science. She seem like very happy to have these two classes on.

                  Hi everyone,

yes I hear from my neighbours and sil that tns lower pri very laid-back n no homework. That’s a pleasant surprise for a school like tao nan. But Im all for this system as I think it will b v stressful for young kids who just started formal school.

Btw what’s GEP? What does it entail?

                  Leanne,
wow does that mean your elder is p6 this year and the younger one is p1 next year?

PSG is looking for volunteers to help man game stalls at the coming mid-Auttumn festival. 6 parents per class.

do volunteer if you can 🙂

                      Oh 1 more question,

what does it mean by recommended reading list? Does it mean my kid has to be able to manage books around the same level as those stated in the list? Im a little worried as she’s definitely still far from that.
