By the time my son reached his turn in the queue, the auntie told him sold
Out!!! N we had to queue like 10mins. N there is not enough time to queue at another stall cos they are all long. Luckily the autie suddenly say still have enough for one kid… But it wasn’t my son’s lunch choice. Anyway told him to take it cos re-queuing will not allow him to have enough time to finish his food!
Jus hope today will be better… -
Recess should be ok today. Only problem is my girl has no mood to eat so she always ends up buying milo or drinks.
Anyone with kids in P1-D? -
BIG Jam at Marine Crescent this morning.
It seems that the choke point may be the zebra crossing at the give-way at the junction of Marine Parade Road and Still Road. -
Hello ksp,
May I ask a few questions as I was not around for the p1 first day of school.
I read from the tao nan school web, for primary one there is no exam. But, year end, do they still have the prize presentation for top three? If yes, how are they being accessed?
Next question, would like to check for creative writing, how many words or pictures are they required to write on?
Thanks alot.
Regards,

There is no exam but there will be 27 tests from term 2 onwards ie 9 tests per subject. The students will also be assessed on stuffs like \"show and tell\"... That's what I understand from the first day briefings. -

hi Lenny
you can view all the slides presented to the parents on day 1 of P1 here
http://www.taonanschool.net/?aid=294&gid=501&Qid=8047&lid=4159 -
it seems that for P3 the average class size is 38, some 1-2 less.
But 3A & 3J are more than 40.
and there are 2 classes with only 20 each, maybe for those that need that little extra help. -
Hi Tankee,
Thanks again.
