got it at 9.30am yesterday. hee hee.

slimmer, screen larger and the fonts can be really quite big which is very good for my laohua, no more straining on my poor eyes.
fits in my jeans pocket just nice.
speed wise for surfing is super duper fast except 4G only available at certain places.
Panaroma photo is one of the best feature.
Map is unfriendly, maybe i am better used to old app.
silver back for white is sexy looking.
do not disturb feature on IOS6 which is really useful when you dont wish to take calls or be reminded by alerts till you toggle this off.
overall, excellent phone for speed and silver back.
but the new charging port is different from the usual apple products so until i have gotten a adaptor for this, it is not yet perfect.
the battery life does not seem to be as long as it claims, runs nearly flat after 1 hour bluetooth, 1 hour surfing and less than 30minutes talk time and the rest of day on standby.

strangely when i was at starhub, there was only another guy at the vivo store, was expecting warmer atmosphere but no q at all, heard mine was among 550 sold to those with reservation these two days. not sure about the stock level when sales open to the public on Sunday.
68000 has booked interest on Singtel. Apple store taking pre-orders but wont deliver till 2-3 weeks later.
not surprising stock runs low cos this is by far one of the more exciting piece of apple.

actually one of the feature is improved battery life so i need to test it for a few more days on this. but psychologically i am not comfortable that i haven't found an adaptor for connecting it to my car charger due to the different port and am unwilling to buy a new car adaptor.

i received an sms from starhub last night stating that they have put me on priority to purchase a set at OUB on 23 sep between 8am - 7.30pm. stock availability will be while stocks last. need to present the sms for verification. if u r a starhub subscriber you could call 1633 and ask if they could send you this sms. even if stock run out, shoudl replenish in 2-3 weeks.

But I have problem..........I was lazy and never update my Mac OS.
iPhone5 needs iTune 10.7 (current only 10.6.3) which needs at least OS x10.6.8 Snow Leopard (current 10.5.8)
So now all my contacts & data in iPhone4S cannot be sync & loaded over to iPhone5. Also cannot use iClouds to port over cos' it needs OS xLion which is even later than SnowLeopard. So I'm stuck.....walking around with no contact info :faint:

Now I got a lot of 'work' to do before my iPhone5 can function effectively....... :gloomy:

yeah me too with my frustration on portable charger. but our problem is due to advanced technology
can u transfer your contacts by bluetooth ? me not yet tried.

If I am currently using the iphone 4. How do I ensure my apps, contacts, etc... move to iphone 5 smoothly???? :? Do I just use the same itunes account???
