            friendship:
I also know a GRL joined less than a year in RC, definitely will not be qualified as phase 2B.

However, this person serves in The Meet People Session under PAP Branch. He said he will ask MP to provide a letter and present to the principal of that particular school.

If the principal is going to let them enter phase 2B, this will be unfair to the rest of people.
No, writing whatever letter from the MP to the schools no longer works. Tell the GRL don't even bank on it.

When you join a RC, you are 1st an observer. It takes between half to a year to become an executive member. It is when you start being an executive member that your term as a GRL starts.

And you need to be an EM for a full year in order to secure the recommendation letter.

So all in all, you need to join the RC about 2 years before registration.

Some even join when child is 3 years old.

To play safe, join before child turns 4 that year
