Some person become grossroot leader in order to secure a place in 2B admissions for there kids. Once the kid gets admission, they stop the grossroot activtity. Is this ethical? Why does PAP not stop this activity?

this kind of parents are the fruit of bad parenting.

U also say Liao... PVs also MIA after P2B... Why GRL cannot leh?
If so clear cut, everyone will also just join PV... Provided got enough vacancies... N clock 40-80hrs ONLY...

may be different sch different style in handling PV. My kid’s sch, those successful PVs are allowed to exit so as to give the vacancy to new batch of PVs. Only capped at 30. Phase 2B vacancy usually around 50 there about every year. At least the principal gives an allowance for GRLs to enter.

Hello all, I am pretty new here.


I understand that the school needs to be in the same constituency as where I stay. If the property I newly purchased is under construction the point of the phase 2b application, does that matter? My current property is outside the constituency of school, and I am registering my dd in 2013, and the TOP is in 2014.

If you are registering in 2013, you are too late for the GRL route.

Organize events... No residents turn up
Go for block visits... Residents complain RC never do work
GE... People say GRLs are politically motivated
Get P2B... Say got ulterior motive
Want to MIA and spend time with family... Say unethical...

Hard to please leh... :siam:

Organize events and have to go door-to-door to sell ticket like a saleman, \"convincing\" residents to buy.

Best of all, got annual KPIs to achieve even though we are just volunteers
