Can I check? If I were to join as a CDC volunteer, does it mean that I can apply in Phase 2B for any school in Singapore or it is restricted to the schools in my GRC or CDC only?

I don't CDC volunteer has this privilege unless you are in the CDC Executive Committee.

The school im going to apply in is not in my GRC although it is 1km from my house. So i should apply to the GRC that I stay in correct?

Yes, you can only apply to serve in the GRC that you live

Dear all,


I have this question and hope someone can help clarifies. I understand that GRL can only serves in the GRC that he/she resides in. And Phase 2B is only applicable to the schools within the GRC. However, I came to realise that a person I know has managed to serve in another area and successfully applied to a school that is not within the GRC that he/she is serving. They have relocated to a unit near the choice school within 1km.
Point : volunteer do not reside in the GRC nor the school is within the serving GRC. Neither has "connection"
Is there a loophole or possibility that we could do such an arrangement?
