dear, all, I browse most of the posts, but there are some questions still confused.

under the new ruling, I can just apply the school near our house within 2KM, but about the schools, does the school need to be in the community at the same time. for example, we live from rulang school within 1-2 KM, I do the volunteer in pioneer community, but ruling is in the jurong community, do I still have the priority in the phase 2B to apply rulang school?

my boy register primary 1 in 2017, if i apply the volunteer service now, is it too late?

As you are in pioneer, you can't apply for the school in jurong under P2B via Grassroot route

You will need to be confirmed as Executive Member before 30 Jun 2015 in order to be eligible

I think you better ask the pple in the grassroots leader thread. This thread is for clans, churches etc.

Think it has to do more with the GRC that your RC is in. As long as same GRC as the school, it should be fine. Check properly.

Rosyth is in AMK GRC. Many homes 1km of Rosyth are actually in Aljunied GRC.

PA only assign you to the RC that you reside

Even if you join in RC not in your estate, you can only be a Associate Member and you don't have the P2B entitlement

Dear parents,


My home is weirdly placed within the GRC as it is right on the boundary (Hong Lim). I serve in the Moulmein-Kallang GRC RC as an executive member, but the closest school within 1-2km of me is all inside the Tanjong Pagar GRC =(

Is there any appeal possible or just my luck?
