P2 Math - General Discussion

Hi Mummies,

I happened to walk into Popular IMM this morning.
There is a member sale for some books...Visible Thinking in Maths is one of them. P5-P6 just arrived yesterday.
Price of books range from $6.50 to $8.20 (P1-6) according to the poster...at the cashier, the price of the P6 is $9.90 after discount...which is quite far off from the price mentioned. I will take it that $8.20 is the price for P6 level but the supervisor insisted that Popular cannot commit to the price mentioned...to me, I find that companies should honour the price printed esp such a large company like Popular :x

I saw the printed price of P6 is $12.75 and P5A is $10.25 before discount. Just curious to know is this member sales is for all popular or only at Popular IMM ?

For P6, it's just 1 book...P1-5 has both A and B.

I really messed up everything. I started teaching Bar modelling cause Her school has started teaching them. At the same time thot of doing some rivision, and make her do the 1st chapter...... now I am stuck because I found that she is not very clear in her 1st chapter. now going back to basics to encourage her to learn place value

Don't think you messed things up. I'm also teaching my DD models now. My DD also forgets old stuff once new topics are being taught. So sometimes, I also need to revise old topics with her when I have time.

Give your DD time. I'm sure she'll get the hang of all the place values with more practice. :ugogirl:

Ha Ha. Is true, any 凤吹草动 of new release of book or sales cannot escape from us lah. As such I like this forum.
