        Hi plum-cake,

I don't mind either Simon Eio or Li Fanglan for models...saw a new 'look' for her assessment book. My son was taught models only at p3 and that is really too late...seem to see p2/3 syllabus brought forward to p1. Whole year nothing but assessment books, really sian. šŸ˜ž

My ks hubby bought the entire set of Fan-maths from Popular last year...bcos there was 25% discount :faint: I was asking him if there was a need to get all since there is no CA/SA.

                        Star + moon = _____

                        The missing number is _______
                        1 moon = 18/2 = 9
                        1 star = 200-106 = 94
                        star + moon = 94+9 = 103

how to find 1 moon is straight forward.
how to find 1 star, i told my child to visualise the 'Star + 106 = 200' into a weighing scale. To find 'Star', he has to take the equivalent of '106' out of the '200' to balance the 'scale'.
