What is western egg tart?
Actually the egg custard looked and tasted the same. The curst was a little diff. The western one was more like short bread (like bengawan solo and prima deli) the 良辰 traditional was a little flaky. -

anyway, just had my bengawan solo version...custard quite nice. -
kfc tarts with chocolate is yummy…i just love that taste.
wanted to try canto paradise egg tarts last night…but decided to hold back as i have been eating quite a bit of late. -

anyway, just had my bengawan solo version...custard quite nice.[/quote]I think that's unique to 良辰美点 . The shops usually sell the short bread type or the flaky type. So far, only 良辰 sells both. They probably started off with their own version ie the flaky ones but realized that there is an equal market for the \"shortbread\" crust. -

i was at jcube last night...walked past canton paradise but didn't see any egg tarts in the display...maybe it was a blessing.
with all the talk about egg tarts, i feel kinda jelak thinking about it. -
