Pretty much 100%.Hi everyone,
My daughter is 9 months young and registering for P1 in 2016. My husband is an ex-student of ATS but not an alumni member. We live within 1km of ATS. May I please have some advice on our chances of getting into ATS?
Thanks in advance.
Your DD qualifies for Phase 2A2 and no balloting had ever occurred for Phase 2A2 for any school in Singapore. Then again, it's still 6 years from now and circumstances might change. -

I very sotong and don't even know what that means  but I'm guessing it's a good thing? -
I dun have any fall back, that's the thing.:(
either I take the risk, or stay put at SJIJ. -

That's why I say circumstances might change and that is certainly one of them.
Cumulative TUR of ATS by the end of p2A is about 70+%. So if they drastically reduce their intake from 330 to say...250 in 2016, then there could be balloting for p2A. -

MOE requires all schools to operate at single session by 2016...meaning all P1 - P6 will start school in the morning.Hi LKVM,
I very sotong and don't even know what that means  but I'm guessing it's a good thing?
ATS is currently partial single session, meaning P1 & 2 in the afternoon, while P3-6 in the morning.
For ATS to fit all their students into the morning session, they either have to reduce the number of intake (thus reducing the number of classrooms needed for each level) or they will have to expand their campus. -
from the previous chart, how do we calculate what is the number of people registered vs the number of seats available? :?

For Bishan area, the only school with vacancies in p2CS is Guangyang. How do you feel if your son were to study there?I dun have any fall back, that's the thing.:(

If this is not acceptable to you, then it might be better off to just stick with SJIJ. -

I see. Thank you for the explanation. So it's not a good thing afterall. Cannot be helped, will just have to wait and see. No one will know what the future holds. Except maybe the WC Sotong
