Hi all!

I have just shifted to Bishan, m looking for a school for my girl. Understand Aitong may not have place for her, how’s Guangyang Pri? Heard from neighbour that school is at AMK now. Is Guangyang Pri coming back?

In order to redevelop the school premises under PRIME for 2 years, in January 2010, the school was shifted to a holding school at 2 Ang Mo Kio Street 23 from 6, Bishan Street 12.

As you are also keen in Ai Tong, please note that the school will be upgraded too from January 2014 to December 2015.

During upgrading, the school will hold temporarily at ITE College West (Ang Mo Kio) located at 4300 Ang Mo Kio Ave 5. Pls refer to below link for further detail:

My girl will be going to P1 in 2012 and I'm having a hard time deciding whether to register her for KCPPS or Henry Park Primary School (HPPS)...

register at hpps first since it is a confirmed place (no stress about balloting).

monitor the situation at kcpps under phase 2b (since you are a pv but no guarantee of a confirmed place) and decide your chances of getting into the school.

Hi, I heard from my friend too about Ai Tong. Her daughter in P3 this year. It will affect her coz her daugter will be in P6 when they move to new site…Anyone know how to go ITE amk from bishan?


I’m thinking of Guangyang Primary School for my girl. She is registering this year. My neighbour’s children are there. Her girl graduated last year. Now in Crescent Girls’. Not bad! Neighbourhood school can be a gem. I have a few months to consider.

I think there is a bus number 88 from Bishan to AMK ITE. Maybe you can check on SBS website? :lol:

From what I have read, so Guangyang Pri is ready in 2012? School operates in Bishan in 2012 beginning or end? The close proximity helps my girl, I hope, in the event I can’t get into Aitong. So stressful! Looking for a school for her. Anyone knows more about Guangyang Pri? Can share? BTW, what is Best Progress School?

I have seen boys from guangyang (boys ah not gals), very well behaved and not rowdy at all, maybe they are lower primary…and I have seen boys from catholic high, very rowdy…

every sch got rowdy and quiet pupils.

if u stay in bishan long enuf, u’ll probably know the popular schs around the area are ai tong, catholic high and pei chun. next is kuo chuan. guangyang follows.
