Better as in? There's no better or worse school. Every kid is different so u see what u need for your kid and whichever more convenient for u. It's going to be very tiring for him if he needs to travel so far to your mom's place. Or u are thinking of letting him stay with your mom for 6 yrs of his pri sch life?Anderson is near my home

Unless u are a former student from mee Toh, else u will be considered 1-2 km even if your mom is within 1 km. think mee Toh is also quite popular and chances are u won't be able to get in if yours is under 2C. -
I mean better in academy .
My wife is former student from Mee toh , while i am from Anderson -

Better in acad means more tests, more work, more studies. Depends on what u want. Dunno about mee Toh, Anderson isn't very acad driven. Instead, they have specialization from p3 onwards called the IMAS. They are put into classes which specializes in leadership, music, computer, sports etc depending on their talents. If u want your kid to be study like crazy for 6 yrs and get good psle results, then u can skip Anderson. Anderson is quite relaxed for p1 at least. I know of some schs where even at p1, they have many tests and exams. I heard from parents at the upper pri that their stds aren't comparable to the elite schs. But if u desire your child to do more than just study, then u can try Anderson. U. Can read more about it on their website.I mean better in academy .

The other thing u need to consider is distance. Travelling is really no joke. Unless u wanna move near mee Toh.
Btw, Anderson will be going thru upgrading from 2014 to 2015. So will be shifting to kebun baru for 2 yrs. -
Thanks

Gosh. Any parents doing the home-based learning online modules these few days? So many tasks to complete for p1.
There are 17 tasks. And we have only done three.
The 4th one we chose today has 14 activities within. And we spent 40 min just to reach activity 7! -
Hi,
P1 only need to do 3 activities(1 for each subj) according to the list given. The rest are extra I think. -
Ya, only do 3 tasks. It’s in the letter. The rest are extras. My son is so happy doing it that he’s doing the other exercises too.
-
Oh great! Thanks for the info. Phew! So scary to have to do everything otherwise!
-
Just checked. The three tasks we completed were the required ones. Phew!
