It's in Nov's newsletter. U can still get from holding school. Some time in dec, they will shift back.

Regarding higher Chinese, it should be the same as last few years, they will break up to their Chinese classes.

My DS got into 5.2 since he didnt do well. Just hope he can buck up to do better in P5 and P6

Does it mean that 3.4, 3.5 and 3.6 are also the better classes? My DS said that 3.1 to 3.3 will have 30 students in the classes and are the weaker ones. So APS is also doing away with banding the top students in the same class. I wonder if this is a good strategy as the students in APS are pretty diverse in academic ability.

I just transferred my boys to APS. How was are the classes being allocated ? 3.1-3.3 the weaker class ? 3-4-3.6 the better class ?

Am also curious how the school allocate the p4 students? Why I see parents in school were so excited that their child get into 5.6 ? Isn’t 5.4 and 5.5 as good? Some from these 2 classes also offered higher mother tongue right? Any one knows how APS students did for their PSLE last year?

All 3 classes (5.4/5.5/5.6) are better ability classes. And it's not true that only pupils in P5.6 take HCL. Some pupils in P5.6 do not take HCL.

My DD from last year 6.2. There were 12 names mentioned on the PSLE results release day. The highest T-score was 271 and lowest among the top 12 was 256. There should be around 25 to 30 above 250.
