Wow... long time didn't check, seems like I missed a lot of things :yikes:
265 but don't know how many retain though, heard alot of them go to NA or NT.kitty2:
what is Anderson primary highest PSLE score this year ?
percentage scored > 250 ?
which are the top few classes from P4 - P6 ?
Just to add on the above, I was at a recent Anderson Parent Link Group meeting when the school management shared with the parents about the 2012 PSLE results.
Thanks,
At the meeting, the school shared that it has recorded the highest pass rate of 99.6 % in its school history in the 2012 PSLE.
The pass rate for all subjects is also higher than the national passes, with about 7 out of 10 pupils making to the Express Course over the past 2 years of PSLE.
The school also shared that it is particularly proud of the achievements of the class of pupils taking foundation subjects as many of them have achieved very good results and are able to pursue an NA course in secondary schools.
One even made it to the Express Course.
In the meeting, the school management also expressed to the parents that it is important that schools and parents come together to affirm and celebrate the achievements and efforts of all our children in the PSLE.
Every child is unique and has different interests and talents. As such, results at PSLE or other forms of exams should not be used to ‘define’ our children or used a single point of yardstick to measure the overall success of our children.
As parents, let’s all be proud of all our children’s achievements and continue to guide and encourage them to be happy, positive, resilient and good contributing members of the larger community.
Hope we don't really start comparing as different schools, children have their own strengths and weaknesses... each of them is unique... :salute:
Thanks, syshi. This is indeed a good information for us. I truly believe that every child is different and they are strong in their own ways. We as parents can encourage them to be their best! -
For P2, has the teacher send out the CCA form?
DS didnt bring back the CCA form, hence we havent enrol any yet. -

I don't recall reading the good news on APS website. Wonder if it is against MOE policy to share the stats. If not, such good news should be shared. -

Maybe i'll try to see whether can ask them to reconsider as this is just part of fact to share without any 'seasoning' -
