Anyway, this P1 registration has got nothing to do with 亲爱忠诚, 敬业乐群. Did the school teaches if the P1 registration system is right or is wrong?

I do not wish to debate the merits or otherwise of P2A here, seeing as this is not the correct thread and that debate has been sufficiently aired in the other thread. Not to mention that it is certainly something where people can legitimately have different views about.

All I want to do is point out that such derogatory statements as, \"These group of self sensed non thinking parents who think they are really smart by putting pressure on MOE and trying to lobby for change\", and \"Compared to the noise by some non alumni parents .... MOE will think twice ....not forgetting the elites whom are old boys from CHS\" evinces an elitist attitude that certainly falls short of 亲爱忠诚, 敬业乐群.

I am an old boy, and I am not proud for my alma mater to be associated with such statements. If these statements had appeared in some other school's thread, I would not have said anything. Other than that, peace.

Please read my post carefully, I did not mentioned the word \"ELITES\", it's someone else mentioned after my post. The dirty word is mentioned by ascend88

I think you should also read the post I wrote at the Home Page on Chief's comment.

I never ever advocate elitism, it is also something which I hate very much.

Anyway it is non of my interest now as both kids are already in school, it is just that I cannot stand those who cannot get into the school they just know how to complain and never reflect on themselves, and I shall not mentioned all this system of how children get into P1. And furthermore we are not the XXXXXX, if we are, we will have the power to change things directly and not talking here.

We came from the same school, we are taught mainly in chinese and also the traditional chinese culture and we (including both of us) know what is 礼义廉耻, so how could I have that kind of XXXXX attitude?

And by the way, I shouldn't be posting here anymore as DS already no longer in primary school anymore.

Yup.. It was indeed a fun & memorable day for everyone..

DS2 helped out at his class' Game stall the whole day..
I helped out at a Food stall at the Primary School canteen..
DS1 went back to CHSP in the afternoon (after his CCA) and met up with his teachers and old friends.. :boogie:

The weather was lovely too.. :rahrah:
