Hi just wanted to know for this year, any mummies's children at pri 1-1?? Would like to know more so that i can seek advice from the mummies.. πŸ™‚

my elder son is in 1-1 and my younger son will be starting his primary sch next year.

I also like to check below is my son Holistic Development Profile in Sep

      english: 70.9
      chinese 88.5
      maths 97.8

      Total 257.2

Does that consider normal or not soooo good... not sure whether his english consider poor or not and whether shld i let him tuition? 😞 or am i worrying tooo much??? 😒
should ask your son's Form Tr -
What is the average for P1 English at cohort level, and also at his individual class level ?

Then, you'll be able to tell if your son is within average or not, in his class, and amongst all the P1 cohort.

For English to be in band 1 : minimum 85 marks and above

            Hi orange belt,

I have not let my son go for tuition yet.. Was waiting for him to be in pri2 when the Sch in single session. By then my younger son also will be in pri 1. Thinking of letting the 2 of them to have tuition together. Will it be too late? Or shld I start now??? :frustrated:

                  Hi everyone!

As everyone is aware, next year SAPS will operate as single session but is anyone aware of the exact school hours?

Based on last newsletter, it will be from 730am to 145pm. By the time DS gets home, he'll :faint: from hunger!

                      Hi,

Actually based on the Anthonian updates, the timing is from 7.30 am - 1.30 pm but you're right, by the time reach home already very late and hungry!

I'm actually kinda confused regarding the timing because according to the survey times, it's 7.45 or 8 am. I can't remember the end times but why Anthonian updates states is 7.30 am? Then what's the point of asking parents for preferred timings? And current morning session is 7.30 am - 1 pm with reporting time at 7.15 am. Why next year extend another 30 min?

Dunno if told to change becos printing error.

Maybe longer to stagger the recess breaks?
