So what does the PAP coummunity foundation student care provides? Is it something like after-school care? Do they provide food? What is their operating hours?

yap, they are before/after school care. kids will have their breakfast/lunch/teabreak (depending on b4 or aft school), nap, homework supervision there.

i think so. did u get the school bus form when u register ? i don't have the form w me now. think there's a no. that we can call.

other than pcf, think there's a few more student care ard the area (which is nearer to radin mas - think it's cherie heart n 1 more (can't remember the name)

Hi, hve been busy the last few days thus didn't check the forum. Shizta, you are indeed resourceful.


Regarding the sch bus thingy, the lady told me the bus operator will send a representative during orientation day. We can then post all our questions to him. I'll be taking one way trip.. wonder if still need to pay full price.

I havn't got time to check my letterbox for the confirmation. Just very thankful we need not go through balloting.

thanks for the compliments :oops: . actually some of the info are from other threads which i've been reading even before i joined as a member. then some concerns me so have to do research :lol:


my girl also taking single schoolbus trip. the cost will not be the same as 2 way but it will definitely b more than half of the 2 way fee.

eg. if 2 way is $100, 1 way may be $60 or $70

Bus operater contact is mdm eileen 9631 6628 but accordingly to her price for next yr is not out yet.

wonder how long will be the orientation n is it limit to 1 parent only ?

Not sure on the duration of the orientation too… Do not think it’ll be too long right? I’m just wondering where to park on that day. Its sure going to be crowded and I’m sure there’ll be plenty of cars and not that many lots available.

Hi Maizai,
Orientation is usually about 2-3 hours (especilly if you intend to buy books, etc) I think. I'm no sure if it will be the case this year, but the school may have arrangements with St Teresa's church next door to allow parents to park there. The side gate is vey close by. Otherwise, there are many lots in the HDB apartments just adjacent to the school.
