Hi, my gal will be joining too in 2013. I am staying near to Tiong Bahru mrt. Do you know if there are direct buses from kellock to TB mrt or hv to take the bus to Outram then changed train? I am thinking in case they need to stay back next time.

Need to walk to Bt Purmei Ave. There's Bus #123 that goes to Tiong Bahru MRT station.

Yes walk to Radin Mas Bus Stop can take bus to Tiong Bahru but a better option would be taking bus to Outram MRT & then take a train to tiong Bahru.

Walking towards Radin Mas bus stop through the Bukit Purmei HDB estate seem rather quiet. I would suggest that maybe you can put on school bus would be a better choice.

Thanks Titank! I will definitely put her on sch bus but just worried that if she needs to stay back, there is no sch bus. I will check out the bus stop

Usually in Oct, parents will be invited to go to the school office to formally register their daughter, sign up for the bus, buy school uniforms, etc.
Then, in Nov, there will be an orientation day which the incoming P1 students have to attend in their new school uniforms. Teachers evaluate the students on their reading and basic arithmetic ability, to identify students who need extra coaching before P1 lessons start. On orientiation day, the older students put up performances for the incoming P1 parents to showcase the various CCAs.

The school bus do cater to those students that require to stay back in the afternoon. You just have to pay like $30 to $50 extra for the transportation. Therefore solved your problems. :rahrah:
