Yes, there will be a later school bus on Fridays. You have to inform the bus driver/bus aunty from which date your dd will be taking the 4pm bus on Fridays.
I think all P1 and P2 students will get to out some of the various CCAs for a few weeks each. Then at P3, they can choose one CCA. At least, that was how it was for my dd.
There were annual school events when parents were invited to view the performances of some CCA groups (dance and music). If you are invited to such an event, it will give you a fair idea of the kind of work your dd will have to perform.
Violin is, of course, a prestigious CCA at Kellock, with the Wolfgang programme, where they get to participate in the Singapore Youth Festival, and perform at Children For Children and other events.
The school choir also gets to participate in the SYF, and perform at CfC and other events.
The other dance groups performed at CfC, but I think only one dance group participated in SYF.

CHIJ does not provide after school care. The nearest after school care will be the one at Blk 113, Bukit Purmei - Cherie Heart.

My DDs are not in the student care. This is the only one that is closest to the school. However, do note that the school is re-locating temporarily to Commonwealth in 2017 for 2 years.

Thanks for sharing. I wasn’t aware the location of the temporary campus. Commonwealth is quite a bit out of place from where we are staying. Need to reconsider other school now.
