You should get another letter from school reg. a registration day, when you sign up for school bus, buy uniforms and books, etc. Ours was in October. You can call the school office to check - 6273 0096.

Telok Blangah is more than 2 km from the school?! Do re-confirm; I think it should be within 2 km. Even if it is beyond 2 km, if your dd is a citizen, her chances are good. If not, then there is little chance, imho. All the best!

'dd' is 'dear daughter'.

Not sure about Google Maps. I checked StreetDB.com for 'Telok Blangah Street 31' and got these results:

Blangah Rise - 0.22 km
Gan Eng Seng Primary - 1.45 km
CHIJ (Kellock) - 1.48 km
Radin Mas - 1.66 km

You should call the school office or use OneMap.sg. More info on http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/content/measuring-home-school-distance.

Also, to reiterate, if your daughter is not a Sg citizen, it is best to try for Blangah Rise Primary.
