One week is over and parents/guardians can't access to school easily. Hope the Q at the bookstore will be better
It was terrible!! So many parents were complaining and even the security guard also \"ask\" those parents to complain to the main office.
DS went there a couple of times asking if his/their name tags are ready. And the seller say YES, but they don't have time to pick up.
DS1 former teacher wants him to get P3/P4 Science Test Papers Book. The seller was too busy too entertain him and ask him to come back again when the teacher ask for it! OMG!! Obviously the teacher is asking for it lor!! it's in the booklist!!

Being new in the school, DS1 is being rather careful, as long as teacher asked for it, he has been going to book shop almost everyday to find that book! and the answer is always negative after a long Q.
DH tried to find the book from the nearby school, but apparently, Gan Eng Seng, ZPS, River Valley not using that wor!
So he told DS1 to tell his FT that the bookstore is out of stock and if he still wants, ask his help to talk to the vendor wor!! hhaha... DH loses his patience also lor. :x
in any case, besides that book, quite of number of other things also missing. We haven't got DS2's PE shorts yet - no stocks.
Yeah, I know things will be better, but I hope it will be SOON lor...I am a working mom and is relying on my maid to take care of DS.. .. I don't get much time to go to the school and run these errands for him... feel kinda bad also.

Yes agreed that 1st week of school is very chaotic. I been trying to get the Drama Toolkit & the Maths Process Skills worksheets where quene to the end said no stock. The quene can be as long like 30 persons in the line.
Perhaps the booshop should let Popular operates it.We can order online, check have stock then they do the delivery. Especially those books are Teacher's Production! -

And our poor kids has to waste timing Q'ing and later realise no stock!
I remembered on their 2nd day of school. DH went to bookstore with them after school. After Q'ing for 10-15mins, realised that the Q was not moving, so decided to send our boys home for lunch and he comes back again. Guess what? those little kids Q'ing infront of him, some of them still there!! -

The vendor should have put a list of BOOKS/PUBLICATIONS NOT AVAILBALE SIGN AND/OR NEXT AVAILABLE TIME to avoid unnecssary queuing. Hmmmm...In the coming PTM, perhaps this should be highlighted as part of improvement process.

Did anyone DS or DD on the school bus service? My Poor DS reach home almost like 2.45pm on Friday. The school dismissed all the 6 level at 1.30pm, the school buses take a longer time to go off.
Last year Friday dismissal time was at 12.50pm, this year the school extended to 1.30pm. -

Actually, the bookshop did offer delivery service. -

It only comes up once a week (1/2 hr) session.
