      QMS,

Was it really surprise spelling/dictation on top of normal spelling and phrases or again my DS did not listen to the teacher?
For last week's spelling, Ms Lam did tell the students beforehand what would be tested. She also told them there would be unseen dictation.

Prior to the spelling last week, she also said she might test the students on words not in the spelling list. However, she told them to learn the words and phrases in the spelling list, nevertheless.

        Dino Mummy,

DS told me teacher gave surprise spelling/dictation words, like what you mentioned not in the usual spelling list. So means the kids need to be on their toes all the time...poor thing.

        QMS,

        Hi monmon31
Trust me...this surprise thingy is good. I remb my boy was tested \"chlorophyll\" last year and he need not learn again for his science exams. The kids will survive somehow...

As of yesterday, still no Monthly Notification. I checked both DS bag and RMPS website, this is upsetting.

Preggie, can you provide more information on the Chinese enrichment? My boy didn't show or tell me anything about this.

This chinese enrichment is conducted by an external vendor on friday from 1.30 to 3.30pm. It's a 8 weeks course and cost something like $68

What does it teach? Or, is it something like Chinese Speech and Drama?
