        Hi,
It is better to buy the mic set that is recommended in case the one that you purchase outside is not compatable
Thanks for the advice, I check already the school standard mic is this model.

        Creative HS-390 http://sg.store.creative.com/headphones-headsets/hs-390/437-15882.aspx

I tot of getting a better quality one but on second thought my dear son already destroyed a couple of my high end headphones so wait till he can take care of the electronics stuff.

Finally manage to settle the schoolbus but the bus picks up at 530am as it plys the woodlands route before going to Beacon. Going to be painful for the kid.

School holiday going to be another hassle as the school bus do not operate. Are there many school programmes during the holidays?

I be moving to Segar rd in the future so my son have to endure one year. Anyway he have the habit of sleeping on the schoolbus. Hope he dont arrive at school exhausted.

You may want to let his form teacher know this so that he doesn't get punished or something if he does feel tired in school.

                    Hi mummies,

Am I right that for P1 students, parents are allow to go in the school with them for the 1st 3 days? So after their assembly, parents has to go back home and come back at recess time or parents are allow to stay in the sch compound n wait till recess time?

And we are allow to fetch the kids from the canteen after school?

Yes, Parents can go to school for the first 3 days for the incoming P1s.

This was what we experienced, if this has changed, please do tell. One the first day, we were allowed to go upto the classroom and peer inside. After a while we were asked to move to the canteen to wait for the children. During recess also, parents were cordoned off in a corner, but we could see the children, call out to them and also talk to them. After recess, they went back to the classroom and we waited in the canteen for school to end. Teachers did tell us to go home and come back if we wanted to. After school ended, we could collect the children to go back. If you had signed up your child for bus, you did need let the bus aunty know so she could tick the name off her list.

I didn't go to school on the second day as I had something on, but the last day is the Beacon Initiation Ceremony. This ceremony is to initiate the incoming P1 children as Beacons. The audience are the P2 students who clap for their incoming juniors. All children get a medal from the Principal or the VPs. Parents are invited to the ceremony. This will take place around 10ish on the third day.

                      Hope this helps.

Buy the \"recommended\" one, else if your child has a different from the others, they might possibly pass around and \"admire\", it may get lost or damaged when passing around.

This is what I had observed and understand from my girl. Anyway, she will be in P4 next year.
