I heard that Beacon doesn’t have whiteboard teaching method, is it true?

My friend’s children are in this school. This is a Future School! What are you waiting for? I will choose this school if I need it for Phase 2Cs and I’m surprised that this Future School has vacancies at Phase 2Cs.


Beacon Primary School is the first new primary school set up as part of the FutureSchools@Singapore programme. The programme, which is a collaborative effort between Ministry of Education (MOE) and Infocomm Development Authority (IDA), aims to effectively harness technology for engaged learning.

The school started operation in Jan 2008 and was officially opened by Mr Lui Tuck Yew, who was then the Acting Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts, on 23 July 2010.

my boy will also be in p1 next yr. staying in teck whye and oh my! the school bus is so expensive. poor boy have to wake up at 530am to get ready for school bus arriving at 610am.

any parents can recommend any student care near Beacon as well? would like to put my boy in student care after school hours… but cannot seem to find any info on the school website.
