I contacted the operator school bus, unfortunately no route from bukitbatok to beacon.

My husband trid the following route: bb-mrt bukit gombak-mrt choachukang-LRT bangkit-walk for ard 300m, it takes ard 45 minutes.

A bit troublesome, i feel pity for my kid, he has to wake up very early then.

Anyway, despite of the distance and troublesome on the transportation, we are still happy and excited to enroll our kid to beacon. Hope that we can make friends with parents from beacon.

@dalila: there will be an orientation for P1 this saturday, 21 Nov. Hopefully you have been contacted by school regarding this coming orientation.
The registration start at 8am and the event will be until 1pm.

For P1, the hours are from 730am (15 mins reading program), official Sch starts at 745am.
Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sch hours end at 130pm.
On Tue, Sch hours end at 3pm.

Are you still looking into transportation options?
I have found another student that will be going from our neighborhood (or rather, he found me). We might look into getting a private service. We are looking into finding more kids on our route. The price is a bit steep though, around S$400

Anyone’s lo starting p1 coming Monday. I read the info booklet and noted students are supposed to bring : notebook and beacons reader on day 1 but I don’t have them. Any idea?
