wah sch starts early ,has to be in school 50min earlier...... cant image if have to take school bus........i guess kids have to take brunch at home if wake up late....
BTW, why do you say must be in school 50min earlier? My DS form teacher said must be in school by 12.40pm.
oh i mean general presentation and not in any particular subject, anyway i think is a good practise for the the kids........
i tot the school starts at 1.30pm? so 50min from 12.40pm. so early.......[/quote]OIC.
I don't know what time the lessons start, time table not out yet. But the teacher did mention must bring a story book everyday as they have 10 mins of silent reading. -

I started teaching them Maths from N1, very simple counting, addition, etc...I used flashcards, maths learning games in computers, etc ... I had read an article that says if kids start learning Maths below age of 5, most likely will excel in it. I bring them to the library every week till now. Then I started using top school exam papers, usually 1 year in advance of their level, when they go to Pri school to let them have a feel of the scope involved & to train them exam techniques. I am a working mum, so I can only supervise them at night, weekends & school holidays. I can managed that as I had someone to relieve me of housework but then, not from next year onwards, so I had to start to train them be more independent. I plan homework timetable for them during the school holidays, of course, they will have their play time, as long as they complete their work. My DS1 is more hardworking & self-motivated & will usually comply & meet my deadlines but my DS2 will always find excuses not to do his work. So you need to have a lot of patience & persistence. I have my share of frustration when my kids are not obedient too. I feel whether a kid can excel or not, depends on many factors but a lot still depends on the kid, if he is self-motivated, hardworking, I am sure he can be successful in many aspects. What we, as parents can do, is to create a good learning environment for them as far as possible. And I discovered that I also learned a lot from them & it's a good thing that every day we are also learning how to be better parents.

Thanks for sharing. Wow, you are really a good mummy... :rahrah: Hmm... my DH also taught my DS simple counting, addition when he was 3 years old but till now, I find that his maths is still quite weak... Probably, we were not consistent enough. I used to bring my DS to library every week too but that has stopped since he has enrichment classes on weekends... I think I'm gona start this habit again when he stops most of the class come beg. next year. -

Hi Mr Big,
You just need to go to their website and fill in the form and give it to them personally... FYI, BPPS accept all the PV for 2005 and 2006 batch...
2005 had ard 73 PVs
2006 had ard 80+ PVs
