Hi Kanyaramesh,
Thanks, there were more than extra vacancies for phase 2B. Hope it will be the same for next year.
Congrats! kanyaramesh:
Hi i3mum
I registered under PV. There were about 22 PVs and the rest (15) were under grassroots category. -
BabyGM,
I can understand how you feel, don't worry too much! Just hope for the best! Good luck!

I know. My stress was whether i chose the right school for my DS. Hubby was very relaxed about it and it was me who was getting all the stress. Made hubby come with me for the registration so that the choice of school will be considered a joint decision. Didn't want to give him the chance to blame me if somthing happened
Just relax( easy for me to say now that my ordeal is over  ) and take it easy. I am sure everything will work out alright for you.
Cheers!

HiHi Cody,
Thanks for your reply
I just called the school, they says they have not plans & not sure when to start the partial session of P1 &2 in PM, 3-6 in AM yet. Is it confirmed to start in 2011? I saw from MOE website, it says from this year onwards, maybe next year then it will commence as you have said?
I m hoping the school will further expand to accommodate all levels so be a single sessions.

Dunno .... that's what i was told when i went for registration just a coupla weeks ago. It started off with small talk ... just to break the awkward silence, then the staff started telling me about the school's expansion plans. She didn't put any dates to it, tho she did mention that the reno will start next year. -
Hi kanyaramesh & Sun_2010,
that makes the 3 of us! i registered my son under phase 2A1, so thankful that our ordeal is over.
Orientation is Nov 22 - is that what you were informed too?
I have a problem β¦ because that date clashes with my vacation and the school doesnβt seem to have any other orientation dates! -

The School will only inform those who registered under 2b of their success sometime this week. So am not so sure about the orientation. My Ds has his drums exam the week of 22 Nov so i hope that the exam date does not clash with the orientation. It would be nice if they could do the orientation during the school term after the exams so that we parents can have an idea of the functioning of the school and canteens during normal school hours. -

oh, didnt know this.

oops ... there may be a clash indeed ...
i called the school, optimistic that there will be more than 1 orientation date but unfortunately there will only be 1 and that is Nov 22.
There will be a talk by the prinicpal and head of departments.
Our kids will be ushered to the classrooms and school compound by P1 teachers (not nec form teachers).
Classrooms will be at random, doesn't mean that will be their classroom next year.
There are numerous forms to fill, and the uniform & textbook suppliers will be present.
NO school bus operators though ... parents have to contact the bus drivers on our own accord.
Orientation will start from 830am to ard lunch time.
Hope this helps!
