Not sure if Mr Ng knows what is going on now.umm my gal is P3 and heard there are alot of complaints differ price with the current operators and arguements.
I called the new operator and they said fill in the form indicate the price I am paying now and they will adjust and they will do their best when all forms are back so I am telling my frens to do the same
Mr Ng knows otherwise he wont change right
why go through the trouble unless it is the best for our kids
1 things for sure, we'll all have to pay more starting next year (if not doubled), thanks to the school's new arrangement.
I've just spoken to the school admin and was told the Ops Manager will be having a meeting with the new bus operator tomorrow.
Will have to wait till next week for further updates. -
Mr Ng sure knows. anyhow, the new operator had said they are reviewing the price So I gave in my form. I think to be fair let’s wait as they need time to go through the forms.
My gal is now in P3 and I had seen the work done by Mr Ng and his team. I trust Mr Ng’s decision.
as he does it for a reason and we as parents should not be Jumping into different conclusion but give space for them to sort it out. -

Reviewing the price doesn't equate to reasonable fares in the end.
They need to make known their actual pricing, and not let us guess.
The school certainly did not made known to the new operator of the school's intention in appointing them as the main operator.
Else the operator won't be quoting their fares so exorbitantly in the first place... -
School buses are exempted from COE, and gas prices (diesel i supposed) have been fluctuating around the same old price points, so i don’t see the justification for doubling the price.
I can only think of is the tpt company is sacrificing those staying further away to make the general population that stays nearer pay cheaper rates. -
At double the current rate?
If that’s the case, then the school have made a wrong decision to award to this operator.
And by the way, if this new operator is not interested in the long distance business, then I hope the school will reconsider allowing the current operators to run as usual. -
I think the steep increase maybe due to the operation of single session as they no longer have students to fetch in the afternoon. There is only a limited no of seats on the mini bus and hence reduce their revenue by half.

I stay very near 10 min walk . Still price has been doubled. It's almost pointless to take the bus for me. -
Hi
i think this is not true, since we only go Single Session at least 2 years down the road.sleepyqueen:

Many possibilities.
But let’s hope the school can negotiate a great package deal (if that’s really the initial intention from the school) for us parents in today’s meeting.
Else I say this new operator have to GO, as they don’t bring any form of value-add to anyone, other than wasting most parents (if not all) time requesting for a better deal. -
Just received the newsletter that Mr Ng is leaving and there will be a new Principal replacing him- Mr Chia Soo Keng (Principal of Endeavour Primary School).
As for prize giving, does anyone know for P1, it is based on their common test results?
