It's probably temporary. You should be able to get them before year-end.Nope. She didn't grow too much between last year and beginning of this year.
Only bought new PE attire since, for some reason, they scheduled a lot
more PE days for this year.
Now her skirts are a bit short, but Shanghai Uniform are all out of her size!
We actually bought a bigger size to provide room for growth. However she has grown quite a bit lately, not sure yet if we will need to get new ones for her next year. On the PE shirts, a couple were actually quite badly stained, so we probably have to buy some new shirts for her. -
Agree. They will need to have stocks to cater for the incoming P1.
But DW really unhappy with Shanghai Uniform...their stocks are forever stuck at sea.
Whenever we called, their shipment is always arriving in half a month time. So when we called in mid-Aug, the shipment would arrive end-Aug; called end-Aug, shipment arriving mid-Sep; called again yesterday, shipment arriving end-Sep.
We also bought bigger size for DD. When she started school last year, the hemline was below her knees. At the beginning of this year, it was right at her knees. Now, it's almost 2 inches above her knees....hence the need to buy new skirts.
Seeing that Shanghai has a tendency to run out of stocks, it's probably better that you buy the replacement before it becomes necessary. That's what I told my DW...buy DD's P4/P5/P6 uniforms NOW! Kiasu to the max!

Really? I didnโt know it is so hard to get stock from Shanghai Uniform.
2 inches above knee is indeed a bit shortโฆ does the school have any guideline on how short the skirt can be? -
Maybe because DD is an average size girl, so her sizes tend to run out?
Not sure if the school has any rules on how long the skirt must be.
But if DD does get caught, then we will take the opportunity to complain that
Shanghai can't meet our demand!

So far, no problems for ds. Maybe the problem lies with just the girlsโ skirts. Could u ask the staff to inform you the moment the stock is in?
-
We already left our names and numbers. But there are always the \"what ifs\".
What if they forgot to call? What if we missed the call?
So we ended up calling them every half a month.
-
Maybe can ask the school to act as the conduit to push the uniform supplier? More effective?
Surely the school reserves the right to change a supplier that is under performing? No? :? -

The lady at their Bras Basah branch is very efficient. She always calls back when the stocks are in!We already left our names and numbers. But there are always the \"what ifs\".

We did consider approaching the school about it, but guess the situation is not urgent enough to warrant that move.
Shanghai Uniform is the new supplier. They started providing uniform to nyps this year...maybe because the new P liked their service when she was in NHPS? -
Mvm:
That's good to hear because that's who we left our numbers with.
