I wish they will put all the compulsory subscriptions in with the book list :please:
Ds came home, at the start of the year, with slips of paper for subscribtion to various magazines. Very messy and hard to keep track as they were handed out together with brochures/leaflets of enrichment programmes. -

Hi, my adv is to leave out the items in the optional booklist and buy it only when needed. Fm my past experience, the Dictionary, Assessment books, etc... listed as options are not used by the school and a waste of $$.
Same here. Ours (My Pal, Math, chinese word cards, etc.) all untouched... :razz:BigDevil:
My DS is starting P1 next year, could someone help advise if the \"Optional Booklist\" is necessary? :scratchhead:
op·tion·al [op-shuh-nl]
adjective
1. left to one's choice; not required or mandatory: Formal dress is optional.
2. leaving something to choice.
I know...I'm being a smart ass.

For P1, how many days have PE? Thanks.

Received the subscription form for "+venture in solving maths problem". Appreciate your comments if you have subscribed before. Is it meant for average students? TIA.

For the MTP sessions next week, will there be allocated time slot for meeting the form teacher? Thanks.
-
yes, for the average student, and they have little problems for the kids to solve plus contest. My dd enjoys reading thru the magazine and doing the sums in there.
