Hi,
Anybody knows if there are any mid stream admission (transfer from other sch but not becos of GEP) for NYPS?
the moment Phase 2B / 2C P1 registration ended -
people start queuing up seek transfer into Nanyang.
transfer requests coming in from all sides -
not just from current year P1 freshie newbie pupils, but also from existing siblings of those newly transfered in P4 GEP pupils, + from existing non GEP pupils, all level. -
Anyone knows the selection criteria for
- P4 Science Shanghai Immersion Programme
- P4 Local Immersion Programme Part 1 & 2
:?
Does the student need to submit an application form
to indicate interest? Or the school will select and invite? -
DD went for the Shanghai Immersion program last year. Submit application form and then go for interview.
-
Thanks, Frisbee.
Anyone knows about the Local Immersion?? -
BigDevil : process for Local Immersion is the same. submit application, go for interview, wait for selection.
-
:thankyou:

\"For Singaporean and Singapore PR children born in the year 2009, the closing date for registration will be 31st July 2013.
The PV selection is not on a first-come, first-served basis. The school has the final and sole discretion in inviting shortlisted applicants for an interview, with the representatives of the school and members of the Parent-Teacher Association, which will be held in November/December 2013. We seek your understanding that the school will not be able to share with you the reasons for non-selection.
Successful PVs will be notified by year end to commence their service in area(s) which the school deems fit. They are to ensure that they will be able to meet the minimum 80 hours of voluntary service by June 2015 if they would like to be eligible for Phase 2B of the Primary One Registration Exercise.\"
Traditionally Nanyang has more volunteers than vacancies in phase 2B. Those living within 1 or 2km have much better chances as they may avoid balloting. But it is an excellent school !
