Mummies with older kids in NYPS, mine is in P3 this year. Is there banding this year ?
Would they remain in the same class and progress to P4 apart from those going for GEP ?
Will there be another class allocation for P5 & P6 ?
I am now in P6, and was in NYPS since P1. If the system does not change, I can tell you that P1 and P2 same class (unless there is this naughty boy that the teacher wants to get rid of) , and P5 and P6 same class, the rest banding -

I hope the Nangyang balloting statistics will give you some ideas (http://www.nyps.moe.edu.sg/admission/ba ... tatistics/ ). If you're staying within 1km, usually the chance is pretty high as you can see from the statistics.Dear Chief and experienced parents, we recently moved within 1km from nyps and rgps. Daughter is due for pri one registration Phase 2c in jul/aug 2014 - was rejected after pv interview last year. Preference is nyps bcos of affiliation to my alma mater nyghs.
Any advice for the upcoming pri one registration, on deciding which school to go ahead during ph 2c? Any idea usually how many pv does nyps have every year? How many grassroots apply for nyps annually? Trying to estimate success rate for nyps balloting within 1km during ph 2c...
Thank you -
Dear Parents, just wondered if the UNSW Science competition is open for all P5 and P6 students in Nanyang or for selected candidates only ? and when is it going to be conducted ?

Thanks... seems like recent years, the chance of phase 2c balloting reduced to 50% even though within 1km... scary...
