What are some of the better/valid reasons parents give (so that nyps will consider) when they put their kids on nyps waiting list after pri one registration is over?

And hw many lucky ones on the waiting list manage to get in finally? Less than 5 ?

I think the school reserves the right to allocate "priority" to those on their wait list…regardless of your "reasons". For instance, PVs who had contributed to the school would be at a higher priority

normally, if vacancy arise after P1 registration end -
active, contributing (2A + 2B PV) failed in balloting (in the eyes of Principal of Nanyang primary ) : have priority over any 2C.

Since 40 seats are reserved :-
Most 2A2 ex students will probably now pay $1000 alumni fees, to join the alumuni association, so as to qualify under Phase 2A1, so as to avoid balloting in 2A2.
However, if every ex student does so, Phase 2A1 will still require balloting.
In the event 2A1 get balloted out, after Phase 2A end, they'll fill up a waitlist form.

            After Phase 2B end -
Those balloted out will also fill up the same, identical waitlist form.

            After Phase 2C end -
Those balloted out do likewise, fill up the same waitlist form, too.

In the end, who are those queuing up, inside waitlist form ?
            Will be the \"balloted out\" parents from Phase (2A + 2B + 2C).
But to the Principal, who are the parents that she know personally ?
Will be the active ones from Phase 2A + 2B Parent Volunteer(s).
Because P had seen them before, talked to them before, in school.
P Know them personally, even before P1 registration July exercise begin.
In life, \"Who you know, is important\".

Does P know the \"balloted out\" parents from (inactive 2A or 2B Grassroot or 2C from public) ?
            They are strangers to her.

            Inside the waitlist form :-
If comment written inside waitlist form, like \"balloted out during Phase X. I am an active Alumni member, or I am an active Parent Volunteer. My name is Yyy. I contributed zzz hours in ... \" -
This type of appeal will carry weight, because it is a direct contribution to the school.
            Bottom line is :-
What have you contributed to my school, so that I can take your child in, in the event you fail during balloting ?

Any idea on nyps pri one enrolment intake for this year ( children born in 2008)? With school rebuilding, any chance of accepting more than 390?

No mention of increase in intake...school is surveying current siblings intake (phase 1) take up...but based on prior years' records, generally 190-200 spaces taken at phase 1
