assuming CL tough base on lizhi/E3 feedback).

Ermmm...have not seen the paper so can't be sure whether it's really that tough. I guess it's more demanding compared to last year's papers cos it has included ι€ ε₯, and the time given was only 1 h 15 mins for a 100 mark paper. I heard that some kids from the cohort couldn't complete the papers.

That's what I was referring to cos my dd did not feedback anything. She told her dad the paper was \"ok\" but science paper she told us it was difficult... so.....

My son had to bring whiteboard marker to school too.

His Maths CA1 is 33% (hubby is super stunned)...the other 3 subjects in Band 3. Lots of bucking up to do during the Mar holidays.

Janet, <<hugs>> to you. I think at this time, you should be anxious to pull up his marks.

When you see the papers today, try to be objective to spot the weaknesses and 对症下药 ok. There could be various reasons that he did not do well. If you see that some questions that he should know yet he could not score, then he might have cool feet during exams. I believe the best learning environment is to have a balance of leisure and pressure, for both the child as well as the caregiver. Of course, you know him better, I wish you all the best! :hugs:

              She's in Responsibility7.

It's good that your DD's class has gotten back all the papers, so no more suspense. I am still waiting for DD to get back her Science marks today.

My DD got two band3, two band2 in LOY10. Worry about how to improve her marks. Band1 has been shifted to >91, is n't it?

                  Hi P4 parents

From all inputs, it seems this is the brief summary at whole level, kindly make any changes if necessary. This is to get an early gauge before Fri's meeting πŸ˜‰

                  P4 Highest in cohort
                  EL - 93
                  CL - 99
                  Maths - 97
                  Science - 92.5

My girl's class highest for CL is 99.5, by one of her kakis. She was :dancing: machiam it was her score.

Actually, I am more anxious to know the class median if not, average, rather than the highest. Some of these kids at the top...I ζœ›ε°˜θŽ«εŠ. πŸ˜‰

Yes, I am waiting to see his papers today and focus on those weak areas. Carelessness cannot be avoided but can only be reduced. I am now working on his March holidays and revising daily time-table to try and squeeze in EL compo and oral as well as breathing space 😒 Very difficult...on one hand if I relax on grammar/vocab a little, he will slide in those 2 areas, but how else can I insert time for compo/oral then 😒

                        85 is Band 1 from P1-5.
If my son can bring his marks up to high Band 2, I will be very happy. Bonus if he can bring his Science (his strong subject) to Band 1.
