About the Subj Banding, there was a distribution of MOE brochure some time ago to P4 pupils. Not sure if P3 pupils recd them.

I attended subject banding briefing during my elder boy's time. Nothing different from the info on the brochure.

Mrs Foo stressed that unless really necessary, she does not encourage a weak pupil to take too many subjects at foundation level, becos the choices for sec sch wld be really limited.

My understanding of SBB: it is for the very weak pupils, they can choose the subject at the foundation level after P4. Similar as the previous EM3.
For P4's Math banding, it is different from SBB, am I right?

You are right- Subj banding is not the same as the present sch practice of grouping similar ability pupils into MA or CL classes.

Subj banding is a direction from MOE across all S'pore pri sch- offerring standard subjects and foundation subjects which ultimately impact on the choices of sec sch. If I am not mistaken, the PSLE t-score computation is different.
This sounds new ....really, is this true Jennifer ?

Thanks mrsbongz for sharing. So I'll go ahead and tell ds that it's ok to say 'what are you.'

As for DEAR, I told ds that your ds wants to go dressed up as a beyblade; and my ds pretended to faint after hearing that  .
Actually, it should be that it is ok to say 'what are they?'... for 'you' I think it's not the right approach. πŸ™‚

DS decided on goin as a ninja.. haha.. so if u see if a very short ninja in school this afternoon, will know that's my ds liao.. πŸ˜„ DS is still have issues going to school, so I'm hopin today's activity will give him incentive to go school without crying πŸ™

i dun think the NAPFA test will only take 15 mins. I think maybe 15 mins for 1 station before the next class starts at the same station?
