Hi all, anybody has any experience/review on the afterschool care at River Valley Primary? How is the experience? How is it compared to some of the other external afterschool care center closely? Appreciate any insight. Thanks a lot!

Dear parents of 2021 Primary 1 kids, are your kids able to attend the zoom orientation on 20nov? My son is having his graduation rehearsal that day and will have to miss the orientation. I’m wondering if most of you are facing the same situation since 20nov is the last day of their preschool?

I don’t send my children to after school care centre. From what I saw, there are quite a number of students attend the school’s compound student care every year. It is not under school management and privately manage by outside operator.

I heard some parents who send their kids to the student care nearby. It’s called My Childhood Place Education Center Pte Ltd, 9666 8451. They are satisfied with the centre in terms of guiding hw, food, nap and play time.

May I know more about the construction situation at RVPS? Whether it affects the kids and also how long will that be until? Either the Thomson line tunneling or the Avenir construction? Any other construction we should know about?

Also, is there another channel where parents chat about RVPS? This thread is quite quiet. Appreciate hearing from any kind parent!

Google River Valley primary school website, check if the Transfer Wait-list Application Form, is there ?

If absent,
contact General Office, ask them to email you the Application form

Hi, with the most recent changes to p1 registration next year, may I ask what the chances are for Phase 2A, SC >2km? If we get balloted out at Phase 2A, we only have Kellock, Radin Mas, Zhangde, GES within 1-2km. Would be great to hear your views on next best choice (for a daughter).

Although 2A might need balloting for >2km, chances are still very high. 2C can go for Kellock, sure in.

- happiness of the child
