You are most welcomed, great pleasure to share with fellow parents.

I've just searched. RV did not publish a list of their top scorers on its School Website. Some schools do that. But check this set of ppt out, slide 23 shows expected aggregate scores of RV's P6 classes.

      http://www.rivervalleypri.moe.edu.sg/wbn/slot/u1422/RV%20Partners/Info%20for%20Parents/P6%20MTP/Calculation%20of%20T-Scores%20%209%203%202012.pdf

It seems like they have banded the students according to past results. But such practices can vary from year to year even for the same school.

From RV's website, there's also last year's P1 orientation slides. It gives information such as school hours, programmes etc.

For parents who want an early heads-up, enjoy! But do get more updated information later on. Cheers!

                  Hi notknow11,

Yes, hope that they are in the same class.
Wonder if they will know which class they will be in later stage?

Thank you cftongtan for updating on the P1 orientation date. It’s useful for me.

Sometimes, schools will trial class allocation on the orientation day. The first cut will be mostly random, just to ensure gender and racial mix and spread as they do not have information on most individual kids yet. On orientation day, the school personnel may make observations of the kids and then there will be changes. That’s also the time for parents to approach the School personnel if they have specific needs or requests.
